With Fear Not much is possible.

What is the biggest factor holding you back right now?

Let me help:
“I don’t have enough money.”
“There are too many outside factors in the way.”
“I just can’t make that decision because it might not work out.”

I’ll cut straight to the chase: it’s fear.

Fear is one of the biggest killers of everything good in life. It speaks to us in ways that sound like wisdom or protection, but in reality, it can become a trap that keeps us locked inside a box. Every once in a while, we may creep toward the edge of that box, but rarely do we step outside of it.

Why?

Because we often mistake the safe route for wisdom, when many times we are simply searching for reasons why something won’t work out. We fear losing money, relationships, reputation, or failing publicly. Those are real possibilities.

Now, I’m not saying we should recklessly jump into every scary thing that appears in front of us. Wisdom and discernment matter. We should understand why we are afraid.

I can only speak for myself, but I know I battled a lack of self-worth for decades. I never felt good enough. No matter what I did, I believed I would eventually disappoint people or fail. I even kept mental evidence ready at all times—a long list of failures and shortcomings I could pull out at a moment’s notice to keep myself from risking too much.

“Seriously? Look at all the things in your life that didn’t work out. What makes you think this will be any different?”

That voice was always ready.

What I didn’t realize was how much that fear changed me as a person. I didn’t realize how it affected the way I saw others or even how I treated them. Fear is a selfish monster. It narrows your perspective until all you can see is the small area around you. It distorts reality and keeps you focused on survival instead of growth.

So what do we do?

Let me ask you a few questions.

Do you hear a voice in your head telling you that you’re never going to make it? That you’re not good enough, smart enough, talented enough, or capable enough?

If I asked for a show of hands, I’d bet nearly everyone would raise one.

But what if that voice is lying?

What if the real you has simply been buried underneath fear, insecurity, disappointment, and false beliefs?

That’s where coaching comes in.

A coach helps you uncover the lies you’ve believed and embrace the truth about who you really are. Because the truth is, you are capable of far more than you realize.

Yes, growth can feel scary. But that’s what a coach is for—to walk alongside you as you discover the real version of yourself and begin tearing down the box fear built around you.
