The Who am I part.

Hi — I’m Doug Peabody. I’ve lived in Southwest Missouri, around the Springfield area, my whole life, and the region has shaped who I am in many meaningful ways. Over the years, I’ve worked across a variety of fields and roles, but I never truly felt at home until I discovered how deeply meaningful it is to help other people. That realization is what ultimately led me to coaching. It’s not just something I do—it grows out of my own life experiences and a sincere desire to help people create lasting, substantial change rather than quick, temporary fixes.

Why I Coach

There was a time when I was carrying beliefs about myself that simply weren't true.

Those beliefs shaped how I saw myself, what I thought I was capable of, and the life I believed was available to me. Like many people, I was living from a story that wasn't aligned with who I was created to be.

As I began to break free from those false beliefs and seek God more deeply, I asked a simple question:

"Who am I in Your eyes?"

Three words came to mind:

Warrior. Hunter. Guide.

At first, I didn't fully understand what they meant. Over time, however, I realized they weren't just describing my journey—they were defining my mission.

Warrior

The Bible often describes God's people as warriors, not because they fight against people, but because they stand firm against fear, deception, and anything that seeks to keep them from God's purpose.

A warrior protects what matters.

A warrior stands when others retreat.

A warrior has the courage to confront difficult truths.

Many people are fighting battles they can't see—fear, self-doubt, limiting beliefs, uncertainty, and old stories that continue to shape their lives. Before transformation can happen, those battles must be faced.

As a coach, I help people identify what is holding them back and develop the courage to move forward.

Hunter

A hunter is defined by pursuit.

Hunters track what others overlook. They remain focused when the path isn't obvious. They keep moving forward when the destination isn't yet visible.

Spiritually, I believe this reflects the pursuit of truth, purpose, growth, and God's calling for our lives.

Too many people settle for where they are because they have lost sight of where they could be.

As a coach, I help people clarify what they truly want, uncover what is getting in the way, and pursue meaningful transformation with intention and purpose.

Guide

Throughout Scripture, God raises up guides—people who help others navigate uncertainty and move toward a better future.

A guide doesn't force the path.

A guide walks alongside.

A guide uses experience, wisdom, and perspective to help others avoid unnecessary detours and move forward with confidence.

My role as a coach is not to tell you how to live your life. My role is to help you discover your own answers, gain clarity, and take confident steps toward the life you were created to live.

The Mission

When I look at these three words together, I see a mission that defines both my life and my coaching.

Warrior — Fighting for what matters.

Hunter — Pursuing truth, purpose, and transformation.

Guide — Helping others find their way forward.

That is why I coach.

I believe every person has more potential, purpose, and possibility within them than they often realize. Yet fear, limiting beliefs, uncertainty, and past experiences can make it difficult to see clearly.

My mission is to help people break through those barriers, discover who they were created to be, and move forward with greater confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Because transformation isn't about becoming someone else.

It's about becoming who you were created to be.
